The scent is strong and distinguishing, reminding of freshly harvested herbs. Wormwood oil has been known for decades in Asia and is an integral compound in various Ayurveda recipes.
Wormwood essential oil is reputed with various therapeutic properties ranging from antibacterial and antioxidant to antifungal and antiseptic.
Wormwood essential oil is very strong and concentrated and should be used with caution. Be sure to dilute in base oil at low concentration before use on the skin. Its internal use is not recommended.
