Organic Peppermint essential oil is derived by steam distillation from Mentha Piperita plant. It is reputed as one of the most versatile essential oils worldwide.

Used in aromatherapy, peppermint oil increases energy and improves mental focus. It is believed that the aroma of this oil helps relieve headaches and has a positive effect on stomach discomfort.

When used externally, peppermint oil has an astringent effect on the skin. Its cooling effect, as well as its antiseptic properties, make it especially useful for wounds, abrasions, and inflammation of the skin.

Diffuse peppermint essential oil when you want to deodorize a space or when you want to boost your wakefulness and energy levels.

Dilute in a carrier oil and apply the blend to insect bites or stings to relieve itchiness and discomfort. This blend is also appropriate to relieve the uneasiness of sunburn skin.
