DESCRIPTION

 Citrus Aurantium Amara

Neroli essential oil is steam-distilled from the flowers of the evergreen bitter orange tree called Citrus Aurantium Amara. An interesting fact is that 3 different essential oils are produced from different parts of the same tree (bitter orange essential oil is made by cold-pressing the peels of the fruits, while Petitgrain oil is made from the steam-distilled leaves).

Neroli flowers should be distilled immediately after they have been picked to ensure a premium quality and explicit aroma. It has very powerful, light and uplifting floral aroma with fresh, sweet, green top notes.

Neroli essential oil is a popular ingredient in perfumery, not only for its sophisticated floral citrusy scent, but also for its ability to act as a natural fixative.

It is also famous as the ‘oil of romance’ and is often used in weddings due to its ability to stimulate sensuality and create an intimate atmosphere.

SUGGESTED USE

Create your own perfume mixing 4 drops of Neroli oil, 2 drops of Rose oil and 6 drops of Rosewood. Place into a roller bottle and the fill up the rest with a carrier oil.

Diffuse Neroli oil if stressed to improve mood and create a positive atmosphere. Suitable for diffusion before bedtime to support good sleep.

Incorporate Neroli oil into your skin care regime to support skin that looks fresh and rejuvenated. It is especially appropriate for mature, dry skin.
