DESCRIPTION

Lemongrass essential oil is extracted from the leaves of Cymbopogon Flexuosus plant by steam distillation. The oil has sweet, citrus scent.

Used in aromatherapy, lemongrass essential oil is known to revitalize the body and sooth symptoms of over tiredness. It is also reputed to relieve headaches and help fight stress.

Lemongrass oil scent has a deodorizing effect. It could also act as a repellent.

Used cosmetically, lemongrass essential oil is said to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria thanks to its Limonene content. It cleanses, tones skin and strengthens skin tissues. Thus this oil is reputed to help balance oily skin, fight acne, and deal with excessive sweating.

Lemongrass essential oil blends well with cedarwood, geranium, jasmine, lavender and tea tree oil.

SUGGESTED USE

Diffuse lemongrass oil when you want to deodorize the space or when you need to lift your mood.

Dilute lemongrass essential oil with a carrier oil and gently massage to relieve aching muscles or body pains including headaches and discomforts associated with arthritis.

Add lemongrass oil to your regular shampoo to cleanse the scalp, relieve itchiness and irritation and stimulate hair growth.

Added to your body lotion, lemongrass essential oil could reduce the appearance of cellulite.
