Ylang-Ylang essential oil is extracted from freshly-picked flowers of Canaga Odorata plant by steam distillation.

It is believed that used in aromatherapy, ylang-ylang oil brings a feeling of calmness, and reduces stress and tension. It is also known as a powerful aphrodisiac.

Due to its deep, sweet, and stimulating aroma, it is a commonly used ingredient in perfume compositions or serves as a fragrance in cosmetic formulations.

Used externally on the skin, ylang-ylang oil could help balance and regulate sebum production, thus preventing excessive oiliness or drying of the skin and scalp. It is also considered that it can soothe skin inflammations and irritations.

Added to an aroma bath or massage blend, ylang-ylang essential oil can help relieve physical and mental fatigue.
